Analysis:

Though LeMahieu will not appear in the Rockies' season finale Sunday, team trainer Keith Dugger is hopeful that the second baseman will not require surgery as a result of the sprain. The MRI was ordered as a precautionary measure after LeMahieu experienced some difficulty walking, but assuming the tests don't reveal anything concerning, he should be able to complete his usual offseason workout routine.
