Chicago Cubs (72-88) at Milwaukee Brewers (81-79), 7:10 p.m. (ET)

(SportsNetwork.com) - Three of Wily Peralta's 11 losses this season have come at the hands of the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers right-hander tries to reverse course tonight and get his first victory against the Cubs when Milwaukee and Chicago continue a season-closing three-game series.

Peralta is 2-5 with a 4.10 ERA in eight career starts against the Cubs, including 0-3 with a 5.68 ERA in three starts this season. He's coming off a 1-0 loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday and has dropped four of his last five decisions.

Tsuyoshi Wada makes his 13th major league start to close his 2014 campaign tonight for the Cubs. The Japanese left-hander has walked 18 and struck out 53 while holding foes to a .244 batting average. In his last start on Sept. 18 against the Dodgers, Wada didn't get a decision despite allowing just one earned run on five hits in five innings. He picked up a victory against the Brewers on Aug. 13 after giving up two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings.

Last night, Javier Baez was 3-for-5 with two RBI and as many runs scored as Chicago claimed a 6-4 win. Jorge Soler knocked in a pair of runs, while Chris Coghlan added a solo homer and crossed home three times for the Cubs, who have won three in a row.

Neil Ramirez (3-3) tossed a scoreless seventh for the win. Hector Rondon closed out the contest with a scoreless ninth to earn his 28th save. Eric Jokisch was yanked after allowing three hits and two runs -- one earned -- while walking four over four innings.

"It was a tough one. Obviously, I'm a command guy usually, a strike thrower and that just wasn't happening today," Jokisch said. "I battled through it, made pitches when I needed to and gave us a chance to win. The bullpen came through, threw a lot of good innings and we got a victory."

Jean Segura finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored for the Brewers, losers in seven of their last nine. Carlos Gomez and Rickie Weeks also knocked in a run each.

Jimmy Nelson (2-9) gave up six hits and five runs over his 4 1/3-frame outing.

"He made some great pitches, then all of a sudden it was high and down the middle," Brewers manager Rick Renteria said. "They took some good swings on it."

Chicago has won 10 of 17 against Milwaukee this year, and three of seven at Miller Park.
