Analysis:
The 26-year-old slugger is getting an extended look in the starting lineup as the Marlins wind down the season and evaluate their status heading into next year. Bour -- who slashed .306/.372/.517 in 103 games at Triple-A New Orleans this season -- made the most of his weekend, collecting four hits in 11 at-bats including a two-run home run Friday. Veteran Garrett Jones remains under contract with the Marlins in 2015, but being that he is far more effective against right-handed pitching, Bour could have opportunity to set himself up for a platoon role in the infield next spring.
