Kevin Pillar continues to show the Toronto Blue Jays front office that his glove deserves to be in their outfield in 2015.
The 25-year-old made his 26th appearance in left field on Thursday and converted a pair of well-hit balls into outs.
Pillar laid out to rob New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner in the second inning before stealing a hit from Derek Jeter two innings later.

Pillar is also getting it done at the plate. In the 20 games since being recalled in late August from Triple-A Buffalo, he's hitting .281/.317/.386.
“For me, the best way to make a campaign for next season is to help this team win now,” Pillar told the Toronto Star.
