Taylor will earn a second straight start at shortstop Wednesday against the Angels, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.

Analysis:

Taylor is coming off one of the most productive nights of his Mariners career, as he went 2-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI on Tuesday. He'll fill in for Brad Miller at shortstop with the Angels starting left-hander C.J. Wilson on Wednesday. It seems that both Miller and Taylor could be used in a platoon at the position the rest of the way.
