Edwin Jackson: (Back) Set To Start Friday
Jackson (back) is on track to start Friday's game against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Jackson threw a light bullpen session over the weekend and will make at least one more start before the end of the season. He hasn't taken the mound since Aug. 20, when he was shelled for seven earned runs in just 2.2 innings. On the season, Jackson holds a 6.09 ERA with 123 strikeouts and 61 walks over 139 innings.
