Brewers' Braun in lineup Thursday vs. Marlins

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (thumb) is back in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins.

Analysis:

Absent from the lineup the last two days due to increased soreness in his right thumb, Braun will tough it out and play Thursday as the Brewers look to walk away with a split in the series against Miami. Braun is 4-for-10 with two doubles and a homer in his career against Thursday's starter Nathan Eovaldi, but he's just 4-for-21 without an extra-base hit so far in September.
