Rangers' Andrus: 'We’re going to become the dream-crashers'

In the final month of a lost season for the Texas Rangers, shortstop Elvis Andrus still believes the team has something to play for.
“We’re going to become the dream-crashers,” Andrus told Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News. “It’s going to be good, because you know those teams are playing for something. Beat them, and we make everything interesting.”
The Rangers, who have been decimated by injuries this season, can influence the standings heavily in September, as 23 of their 26 remaining games are against teams in the playoff picture.
