Report: 4 teams scouting Monday's start between Phillies' Burnett and Mets' Colon

Philadelphia Phillies right-hander A.J. Burnett and New York Mets right-hander Bartolo Colon made their final auditions Monday prior to MLB's non-waiver trade deadline 

Both veteran starters faced off against one another at Citi Field with scouts from four teams in attendance. 

Burnett suffered one of his worst outings of the season, allowing seven runs on eight hits in five innings, while Colon allowed one run on 10 hits in 7 2/3 while striking out six.

The 37-year-old Burnett entered Monday with a 6-9 record and 3.86 ERA in 144 2/3 innings and has a $15 million mutual option for next season. 

The 41-year-old Colon is 9-8 on the season and owns a 4.03 ERA over 134 innings. Owed $11 million next season, Colon has struggled in his five starts prior to Monday, having allowed 19 runs in 33 1/3 innings.
