San Diego Padres outfielder Chris Denorfia's versatility has made him a sought after option for team's looking to improve their bench ahead of a playoff push.

The 34-year-old impending unrestricted free agent has split time between all three outfield positions this season and has posted a modest .244/.295/.321 line while adding 10 double and 16 RBI in 87 games.
Seattle, who are also reportedly interested in both Matt Kemp and Alex Rios, have received limited output from its outfield this season. While Denorfia likely won't solve the power outage they've received - the Mariners have 16 home runs from the outfield - he could provide some depth for Lloyd McClendon's squad.
B.J. Upton continues to struggle for Atlanta while Jordan Schafer is hitting .164/.247/.219 through 84 at-bats. The Braves sit one game behind the Washington Nationals for the division lead and could take advantage of the Padres' firesale without giving up a valuable prospect.
