VIDEO: Minor leaguer strikes bird with pitch

Thirteen years after Randy Johnson killed a bird during a Spring Training game, another bird was struck by a pitch during a minor-league tilt.
During a Class-A game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Fort Wayne TinCaps, Whitecaps hurler Jon Maciel threw a pitch that knocked a bird to the ground.
It's not immediately visible on first glance, but you can see the incident more clearly upon multiple replays:
No word yet on the bird's condition, but at least it didn't explode on impact like Johnson's victim.
