Angels' Trout paces American League in All-Star voting

Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout is poised for his third consecutive All-Star appearance, as the 22-year-old outfielder leads the American League with 764,007 votes thus far, according to Tuesday's ballot update for the upcoming Midsummer Classic.

The first ballot update also has Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista primed for a fifth consecutive trip to the Midsummer Classic, as the veteran slugger's 675,290 votes represent the second-most in the American League.
The 85th All-Star Game will take place July 15 at Target Field in Minnesota.
