Alcides Escobar: Minor Shoulder Soreness

Escobar was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with minor shoulder soreness, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports.

Analysis:

Apparently, this is just a minor ailment, so Escobar's regular-season availability does not appear to be in jeopardy. That said, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Royals play it safe and hold him out for a few days. Escobar has played in just three games so far this spring, but this is the first word of any sort of injury.
