Dodgers' Cody Bellinger: Stay in majors likely to be short

Bellinger will likely be sent down upon the returns of Joc Pederson and Franklin Gutierrez from the disabled list, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Both Gutierrez and Pederson are targeting returns in the first week of May. Bellinger is just 1-for-10 at the big league level, but the concern is more about the 21-year-old getting regular playing time. He has just 20 games of experience at the Triple-A level, and once the Dodgers are healthy, they'll send him back down for the valuable experience.
