Marinez has thrown 10 innings to begin the season, allowing five earned runs on 11 hits and eight walks.

Analysis:

Since April 14, however, Marinez has given up just two runs over 5.2 innings. His 8:8 K:BB still leaves plenty to be desired, and he figures to continue to work mostly in the middle innings going forward.
