Red Sox's Brock Holt: Cleared for rehab assignment

Holt (vertigo) is scheduled to begin his minor-league rehab assignment Friday or Saturday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

If all goes well during his rehab assignment, Holt should be ready to rejoin the Red Sox shortly, though he still remains without a timetable for return.
