Nationals' Max Scherzer: Set for Friday outing

Analysis:

The right-hander will pitch the day before Stephen Strasburg makes his return from the paternity list. Scherzer should rack up plenty of strikeouts once again as he faces an inconsistent Mets order. He's spun a beastly 1.95 ERA in four starts so far, with a 10.7 K/9 and a 2.6 BB/9.
