Watch: Pujols' bat gets lodged in dirt after shattering
MLB.com
Albert Pujols is capable of doing some ridiculous things with his bat, but this was something else.
After connecting on a 1-2 pitch in the sixth inning Monday off Toronto Blue Jays starter Francisco Liriano, half of Pujols' bat went flying down the third-base line, nearly striking infielder Chris Coghlan. It missed, thankfully, and Pujols' bat harmlessly found itself stuck - javelin-style - in the dirt.
