Diamondbacks' David Peralta: May receive scheduled breathers

Manager Torey Lovullo may give Peralta scheduled days off during the 2017 season, Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

It's not surprising, considering Peralta made three trips to the disabled list last season. Even with the planned breaks, Peralta could serve as a fine complementary piece in mixed fantasy lineups, especially as a matchup play against right-handed pitching. He's off to a slow start so far (2-for-13) but has clubbed a home run.
