Indians' Edwin Encarnacion: Makes good first impression with new team

Encarnacion went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a comeback effort to help defeat the Rangers 8-5 on Monday.

Analysis:

Despite failing to show much power this spring, the veteran slugger didn't waste any time making a good first impression with Cleveland once the games started counting. Encarnacion has posted 30-plus home runs in each of his last five seasons, including exceeding 40 twice. He's not in the great hitting environment he had in Toronto, but it shouldn't matter much with a strong lineup around him. Consider Encarnacion a top-five fantasy first baseman.
