The Houston Astros and Milwaukee Brewers pulled off a small trade on Sunday, with minor-league catcher Tyler Heineman heading to the Brew City in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations, the teams announced.

Heineman, 25, has never appeared at the big-league level and spent 2016 with Triple-A Fresno.

The former eighth-round selection in the 2012 entry draft hit .259/.344/.351 with three home runs and 14 RBIs during 73 games last season.

Over the course of his five-year pro career, Heineman owns a .283/.361/.399 slash line across multiple minor-league levels.
