Mariners' Steve Cishek: Continues to make progress

Cishek (hip) is scheduled to throw his second bullpen session Sunday as he continues to ramp up his throwing program, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Cishek is working his way back from microfracture hip surgery in October, but he is still believed to be weeks away from game action. It might not be until May before Cishek progresses enough to work in the back end of the Seattle bullpen.
