Rangers' Jonathan Lucroy: Extension talks tabled for now
Talks between Rangers management and Lucroy have been tabled for now, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Analysis:
The team picked up Lucroy's team option for the 2017 season back in October. He might enter the season with a chip on his shoulder, which fantasy owners tend to like. Lucroy will be trying to prove he is worthy of big money after playing on a relatively meager $5.25 million this season.
