Blue Jays' T.J. House: Returning to game action soon

Manager John Gibbons said House, who was struck in the head by a line drive on Mar. 10, is recovering nicely and should return to game action soon, MLB.com's Paul Hagen reports.

Analysis:

House started 18 games in 2014 for Cleveland, but he's logged just 15.2 innings in the majors over the past two seasons. The southpaw's ability to sit down left-handed hitters, combined with a fine 2.84 career FIP, bodes well for his chances of filling a specialist role out of the Jays' bullpen later this season. Look for House to reappear on the MLB stage by mid-summer.
