Marlins' Adam Conley: Roughed up by Nats on Sunday
Conley gave up seven runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 2.2 innings during Sunday's split-squad game against the Nationals.
Analysis:
While his defense did Conley few favors in this one, the lefty still carries an unsightly 9.35 ERA and 2.19 WHIP through 8.2 spring innings. If there's a positive to take away from those numbers, it's that none of the 16 hits he's served up have left the yard, but Conley is still running out of time to build up any confidence heading into Opening Day.
