Spring training caveats apply, but it sure looks like Bryce Harper is back.
Resolved to put his underwhelming 2016 campaign behind him - in February, he said he knows "exactly why" he struggled last year - Harper continued to inspire optimism Thursday, launching his MLB-leading sixth spring home run with a two-run blast off New York Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.
Harper, a four-time All-Star and the 2015 National League MVP, heads into his sixth MLB season with more WAR (22.9) through his age-23 campaign than all but 18 players.
