Orioles' Chris Davis: Dealing with bronchitis

Davis is not in the lineup Friday due to a bout of bronchitis, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

Analysis:

Nothing has come out about the severity of it, but it seems unlikely that this ailment would keep the slugger out of the lineup for very long. Davis should resume his normal spring training routine relatively soon, but Trey Mancini may pick up some extra reps at first base in the meantime.
