Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Testing hip with bullpen session

Kazmir (hip) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday and will be evaluated following the outing, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

An MRI on Kazmir's hip recently came back clean, so if this session goes well, the left-hander could get back to upping his workload in preparation for the regular season. Manager Dave Roberts declined to give a potential return date, but that should become clearer once Kazmir clears this hurdle.
