La Stella is dealing with left hamstring tightness and running under supervision, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

It doesn't appear to be anything very serious at this point, but La Stella may be limited in workouts for a few days. The 28-year-old infielder hit .270/.357/.405 for the Cubs last season and is expected to compete for a bench role this year. Consider him day-to-day going forward.
