Tigers' Anibal Sanchez: Feels healthy this spring

Sanchez said he's not feeling any of the shoulder soreness that plagued him during spring training a year ago, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

"I feel better than I have in a few years," he said. Sanchez has struggled the last two seasons, posting a 4.99 ERA in 2015 and a 5.87 ERA in 2016. That has the veteran behind Daniel Norris and Matt Boyd for the last two rotation spots at this point, but perhaps improved health will allow Sanchez to make a strong case during spring training.
