Ventura's funeral held Tuesday in Dominican Republic
The funeral services for Yordano Ventura will be held today in Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic at 9:15 a.m. CT.
Ventura, 25, was killed in a automobile accident Sunday.
Several players, including Salvador Perez, Greg Holland, Mike Moustakas, and Jarrod Dyson - all Ventura's former teammates - will be in attendance, as well as Royals personnel such as manager Ned Yost, general manager Dayton Moore, assistant GM Rene Francisco, and president Dan Glass.

Ventura is one of three players with ties to MLB who have died in the Dominican Republic in automobile accidents in recent years.
Former top prospect Andy Marte was also killed in an automobile accident Sunday, which came two years after St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Tavarez died at 22 after crashing his car.
