As the winter meetings kicked off in Maryland on Monday, the hot topic was where Edwin Encarnacion might end up.

When the Toronto Blue Jays signed Steve Pearce, they all but eliminated the possibility of Encarnacion's return - and Encarnacion's agent said it may have been a mistake to reject the Blue Jays' initial offer.
