Reds' Juan Graterol: Headed to Reds

Graterol was claimed off waivers by the Reds on Monday.

Analysis:

After being a fairly mediocre hitter his entire minor league career, Graterol broke out in his age-27 season and even managed to go 4-for-14 in a brief cup of coffee at the major league level in 2016. His surprising production seems to be more of an anomaly, though, and his upside is severely limited as long as Devin Mesoraco and Tucker Barnhart are ahead of him in the pecking order.
