Watch: Schwarber catches Indians napping with surprise SB

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Imagine what Kyle Schwarber could do if he was on two healthy knees.

The Chicago Cubs slugger was surprisingly activated for the World Series despite being inactive since April with torn knee ligaments due to his ability to hit baseballs very far - not for his stolen base acumen. Yet there he was, in Game 7 of the World Series, shocking the Cleveland Indians by swiping a bag off starter Corey Kluber, who was very slow in his delivery. Schwarber was nearly two-thirds of the way to second by the time Kluber let go of the baseball, according to MLB.com StatCast.

With the Cubs already up 1-0 after Dexter Fowler's leadoff home run, Schwarber's surprising steal took whatever air was left in Progressive Field completely out of the ballpark.
