Nationals' Wilson Ramos: Undergoes successful knee surgery Friday

Ramos (knee) underwent successful knee surgery Friday to repair his torn ACL and meniscus, Jon Heyman of Today's Knuckleball reports.

Analysis:

The prognosis following the surgery was reportedly as good as it could be, which bodes well for Ramos going forward. He's expected to be back sometime in the middle of the 2017 season, although where he'll be and whether he'll still be able to catch is uncertain at this time.
