Cubs' Chris Coghlan: Out of lineup Sunday

Coghlan is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.

Analysis:

The Cubs have been using a number of players in left field during the final week of the season. However, Coghlan has been the primary option, starting at the position in three of the previous five games. While Jorge Soler will get the nod in left for the regular-season finale, Coghlan still looks like the leading candidate to see the bulk of the time at the position in the postseason by virtue of being the left-handed hitter of the two.
