Diamondbacks' A.J. Pollock: Will not play again this season
Manager Chip Hale announced Friday that Pollock (groin) will not play again this season.
Analysis:
It's been an injury-plagued season for Pollock, who was able to play in just 12 games in 2016. While his season will be cut short by the leg injury he has been dealing with, the fractured elbow that sidelined him for most of the season is no longer an issue, and he should be back at full speed well in advance of next year's spring training.
