Indians' Adam Plutko: No longer scheduled to start Friday

Plutko is no longer scheduled to start Friday against the Royals, Zack Meisel of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Ryan Merritt will move back to Friday after Thursday's game was postponed due to poor field conditions, and Merritt will be followed by Trevor Bauer and Josh Tomlin in the final two games of the regular season. That leaves Plutko to presumably work out of the bullpen, although he could get the nod Monday if a make-up game is necessary.
