Mets' Bartolo Colon: Chased early by Marlins
Colon (14-8) lasted just 2.1 innings against the Marlins on Monday, allowing seven runs on eight hits, no walks, and no strikeouts, taking the loss.
Analysis:
Dee Gordon drove Colon's third pitch of the night over the right field fence. Things didn't get much better for Colon, who allowed four runs in the second and two in the third before being removed after 47 pitches. Colon entered Monday having thrown five consecutive quality starts, however, so fantasy owners have reason to hope he can bounce back in his final start of the regular season in Philadelphia on Sunday.
