Giants' Eduardo Nunez: Leaves with hamstring strain

Nunez left Sunday's game with a right hamstring strain.

Analysis:

He went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base, his 40th of the season, but suffered the hamstring injury while swiping that base in the seventh inning. Conor Gillaspie figures to get the bulk of the work at third base while Nunez is sidelined, which could consist of the remainder of the regular season. He will get an MRI on Monday, at which point his availability over the final week should become clearer.
