Darvish looked like a completely different pitcher than the one the A's battered for seven runs on seven hits and four walks last Saturday. He displayed impeccable control, getting 67 of his 99 pitches into the strike zone and inducing 18 swinging strikes. The 30-year-old has quality starts in two of his last three trips to the mound and will try to finish the regular season in winning form against the Rays next Friday.
