Braves' Matt Wisler: Sharp in Friday no-decision

Wisler didn't factor into the decision against the Marlins on Friday, giving up two earned runs on two hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out five.

Analysis:

After getting hammered for six runs on 10 hits the last time he saw this Marlins squad on Sep. 13, Wisler bounced back with his third quality start in the last five trips to the mound. The 24-year-old has given up two earned runs or less in four of those outings as well and hasn't surrendered a homer since Aug. 31 against the Padres. He'll look to close out the season in strong form when he takes on the Phillies next Thursday.
