Cubs' Chris Coghlan: On base three times in Friday victory

Coghlan went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and two walks in Friday's 5-0 victory over the Cardinals.

Analysis:

The veteran outfielder continues to build some momentum at the plate as the regular season comes to a close, now having hit safely in five of his last seven games. Coghlan got off to a miserable start to the season in Oakland and initially struggled with the Cubs as well, but is hiting .304 (14-for-46) with four doubles, a homer, 10 RBI, six walks and eight runs since Aug. 2.
