Braves' Mike Foltynewicz: Might start Tuesday

Foltynewicz (calf) might start Tuesday against the Phillies, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Nothing's set in stone just yet, but Foltynewicz has been running on the injured calf without any reported issues and it sounds like he could return for the beginning of the homestand. That would line him up to make two starts before the end of the season. The hard-throwing right-hander has had some more ups and downs this year but he's taken a step forward with his control and has shown more confidence in his secondary stuff. There's little doubt at this point that he will prepare once again for a starting role this winter.
