Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Will miss next start, work out of bullpen
Sanchez (blister) will have his next start skipped and is unlikely to rejoin the rotation until late next week, the Toronto Sun reports.
Analysis:
The decision comes as no surprise following Sanchez's early exit from Sunday's game versus the Red Sox. Manager John Gibbons indicated that the right-hander will be available for relief work, but won't rejoin the rotation until the end of the Jays' upcoming road trip. Look for Sanchez to return to his starting role sometime late next week, possibly in New York for a four-game series against the Yankees beginning Sept. 23.
