Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Surrenders five homers in loss to Dodgers
Greinke (12-5) served up eight runs on nine hits despite six strikeouts over 4.2 innings in a loss Monday against the Dodgers.
Analysis:
Greinke got tagged for a ridiculous five home runs, including four in the fifth inning. He hasn't matched his Cy Young-caliber 2015 season in any facet during his debut campaign with the Diamondbacks, but Greinke's homer problems have been most striking. He has now allowed 26 long balls in just 24 starts after allowing just 14 last season. Arizona is a noted hitters' park, but that can't fully explain the problem, which is a major factor in his stunning 4.54 ERA.
