Mets' Bartolo Colon: Shuts out Reds for win
Colon (13-7) shut out the Reds for six innings on Monday, allowing just five hits while walking one and striking out two.
Analysis:
Despite his age and physique, Colon has been one of the few Mets pitchers to stay healthy and productive this season. The 43-year-old has allowed two or fewer earned runs in six of his last seven starts and will carry a 3.22 ERA into his next outing, Saturday against the Braves.
