Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Set for rehab start

Kazmir (neck) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Kazmir tossed a simulated game Tuesday, and it appears the Dodgers are ready to give him a crack at live hitters in a real game. This rehab outing should be able to adequately simulate a higher-stakes matchup, as it will be a playoff game for Oklahoma City. If everything checks out in that outing, Kazmir should be back up with the Dodgers the following week.
