Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: To make rehab start over weekend
Kershaw (back) will make a rehab start at High-A Rancho Cucamonga this weekend, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
After throwing a simulated game earlier in the week, Kershaw is ready for the next step in his rehab process and will pitch in a minor league game over the weekend. There's no word at this time regarding the pitch count for his start, but if all goes well, his next mound appearance could be in a Dodger uniform.
