Diamondbacks' Jake Lamb: Out of Wednesday's lineup
Lamb is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Giants.
Analysis:
This has been a second half to forget for Lamb and his owners, who were presumably riding high after his red-hot first half. Since the All-Star break, Lamb is hitting .190/.252/.352 with a 29 percent K-rate. Even when factoring in his excellent first half, Lamb is hitting just .165 on the year against lefties, so it's no surprise he is sitting with lefty Matt Moore on the hill for the Giants. Brandon Drury will get the start at third base and hit seventh.
